Hotel De Ville is located in the exclusive eighteenth-century mansion of Palazzo Serra Gerace, a noble residence that from Sottoripa overlooks the area of the ancient port of Genoa and the main attractions of the city.
From the harmonious balance between the restored frescoes and the tailor-made modern furnishings, a high-class structure was born, combining the 4-star reception with hospitality and the warmth of the family-run management.
Protected by the Superintendency of Fine Arts and open to the public during the event of Rolli Days, the palace is a precious jewel of Baroque art that houses the majestic frescoes of Paolo Gerolamo Piola and Jacopo Antonio Boni, representing the cycle of Stories of Aeneas and dating from 1700.
The interiors, albeit restored, have retained the original splendor both in the individual rooms and in the common areas, creating a unique and exclusive atmosphere to be able to immerse themselves in the noble history of the palace.
The art is a constant presence in the rooms of Hotel De Ville, which also hosts exhibitions of modern paintings and period posters belonging to the art gallery Image, of Alassio; therefore the building becomes at the same time an atelier reserved exclusively to the customers.
